Fiber optic cable was being used secretly in military applications when Mid-Ohio Pipeline was founded, years before the first commercial applications in the US. Information technology has now become a commodity in America, used by nearly everyone with ever increasing demands for connectivity. We expanded our capabilities to include fiber optic work in the late 90’s and continue to expand this part of our company as end user demand grows. We are prepared for significant expansions in this division as the Obama Administration’s aggressive technology policies strive to bring true broadband to every community in the country.
