Mid-Ohio Pipeline have the project management skills, equipment, and employee capabilities to successfully complete large sewer projects that normally prove difficult because of project size, scope, and complexity. Transitioning a community or neighborhood from septic tanks to a pressurized sewer system is a complicated process. For example, the completed Shawnee Hills Waste Water Collection Project switched over 870 residential homes and commercial businesses from septic tanks to a pressurized sewer system utilizing grinder pumps to liquefy the waste and pressurize the line. In addition to the grinder pumps, over 38 miles of pipe were installed along with the construction of lift stations and a waste water treatment plant. These systems are gaining popularity across the country as EPA requirements become more stringent, providing a cost effective way to convert from septic to sewer in situations where gravity systems are cost prohibitive.
